Adolescent change team & excitement March 27, 2006

Posted by ckeebaugh in General.

We are having a great time with the new change we are trying to implement. We have had a couple of meetings and decided on the first rapid cycle change but now we have to get all our ducks in a row to begin. I think the team is excited about the changes and the possibilities. I am. I hope this gets to the blog page. ckeebaugh

Thanks Clyde – your message got here! It’s great to hear that there’s excitement about your change. Why do you think your team are being so positive about the change?

hi Clyde..This is Dave from Norman,OK. Glad to here about your team’s excitement..In refernce to Ally’s question, I also would like to know about what makes your team so positive about the change??? I think thats really improtant because if you add passion to any work you do, results are more or less skewed towards being POSITIVE, isn’t it ALLY???

I was really glad to hear from a couple of you, Ally and Dave and it is good to feel like I am still part of the good work we did in Madison. It is nice to be back in warm San Antonio and beginning to implement some of the things I learned. To answer your question Ally and Dave, I think the excitement from the team comes from their being able to verbalize their thoughts and ideas and know that they are going to be listened to. It is on a more formal basis now and they have the idea that they can make a difference in the way things work in this program. I also think they have a very real investment in the clients we serve and making improvement in services is important to them and me.
